The only way you will find out for sure is to call and find out what your options are. Just save your pay check stubs for the last 2 weeks at least, you will need them to report your gross earnings.
noooo, STD is the only way to get paid while you're out, unless you have some PTO time saved up. you should've signed up for STD; it's not very expensive.
FMLA will secure your job for you for 3 months, but it is unpaid leave.

No. Unemployment insurance is meant to protect you if you lose your job (not just take a temporary leave). In order to collect unemployment insurance, you need to be actively looking for a new job and willing to accept a job if it is offered to you. It definitely does not apply to your situation. Sorry.
