It all depends on your age, overall health and plans for the immediate future. $5.00 more isn't alot to pay, most people spend at least that on junk every month. If you're generally healthy, you probably won't need the supplemental in hospital surgery coverage. If you don't plan to get pregnant within the next year you wouldn't need the maternity coverage. If you take the cheaper insurance then you'll need to re evaluate your situation from year to year and change it if needed. If you choose the cheaper one you should at least make yourself save the extra money you would have spent on the higher priced insurance, just in case! (It's not alot, but every little bit helps) If you don't need it, then you'll have a little emergency fund started that you can use only when you NEED it, which we should all have. Good Luck!=) |

That's not enough information but I would fork over the extra ~$5 a month for better health care. |

I would go for the highest offered. If God forbid you had to spend the night in the hospital, your out of pocket would surely put you in debt. One night's hospital stay, depending on tests or procedures, could cost up to $100,000!
That sounds like a good deal on insurance by the way. I pay way more a month! |
