~~It sounds to me as though you are enrolled in automatic withdrawal for your payment to them. You need to contact them early in the morning to cancel your insurance with them. Automatic debits from a checking account would be processed early tomorrow morning, so you may have to ask you bank to stop the debit (according to how your bank works this may or may not be possible because the payment may have already been sent out.
Call the bank first to see if there is a way to stop the payment, then call Geico and tell them you are not renewing with them again.~~ |

It renews automatically unless you tell them to cancel it. There will be a deduction unless you have told them in advance to cancel and not renew the policy. |

Likely they will deduct your next payment, if it's listed as "recurring."
The best thing to do would be to call GEICO tomorrow and request that they cancel your policy effective that date. First, though, start shopping your car insurance elsewhere to make sure that you can obtain affordable coverage elsewhere before canceling your policy,

no there isn't going to be a deductable. But depending on wher you live they may revoke ure license for not having insurance...id get mercury if I where u , they are the best and the cheapest...or liberty mutual if you have a upromise account it's even cheaper...both companies are good and fast at handling claims too...good luck |

Yeah. Whip out you Declaration pages ( the packet they should send u in the mail when you first started your policy) and start shopping it with other companies like Allstate. |

Read the policy. To not renew you must give "prior written notice." Sounds like you did do that... Call a local independent agent and get advice and a great policy (which they can quote through many companies) for the same cost as going direct. |

Well, you'll have to call them, sign a paper, and fax it back TODAY.
Still, you'll probably see a debit on that account (followed by a credit later on). They need more than 24 hours to stop that payment from going through, and you haven't even given them 24 hours. The payment has PROBABLY already been processed. |

I think you can't do anything about that, just sell your car or throw it somewhere, and buy a new car. And about your credit card I think you have to change it, to make sure they can't deduct money anymore... |
