Well, you should check with an esurance agent and ask for sure.
Likely, yes. Most states have a "threshhold" where if they pay out over XYZ dollars (anywhere from $1,000 to $2500 depending on the state, I don't know what CA's threshhold is), then the at fault accident is surchargable.
So they'll pay out the $1500 in damage to your car, plus the damage to the fence, plus the cost of a rental. It will likely be between $2,000 total and $2500, unless you took out a WHOLE bunch of fence. |

It will probably go up... how much depends on several factors, such as age, rest of your driving record, etc.
It probably will not go up more then 10%.... but you might need to shop your insurance again to find the cheapest insurance. |

Unless you can somehow prove the fence caused the accident. Seeing how fences are immobile you might have a hard time proving this. So unless you are prepared to deal with your damages and the damage to the fence file the claim and prepare for an increase in your premiums. |
