Okay, thanks all. I'll be sure to call. Thankfully a police car was there within 2-5 minutes and he got all the information for me...so I'll go check it out Tuesday. I don't drive so I have no car insurance either...man I was almost worried about having to pay medical bills on top of school fees. |

Yes, must state insurance for autos requires you to carry 30/25 in coverage that means liability and hospitalization. So the other persons insurance will cover you. |

You need to file a claim against the driver's auto insurance. That is what it is for. Hopefully you collected all the necessary information, and an accident report was filed at the time. |

You should submit your claim to their auto insurance.. that's why we have to carry liability - in case the driver does damage to another person's property or another person (or both) |

No, you can't bill their health insurance. You can try to sue them for your medical bills, but ultimately, YOU are responsible for paying your medical bills.
If the other party was also uninsured, you probably won't get anything. |
