MIC 1 | Home & Car Insurane? |
What insurance company combines Home and car insurance i want to pay them together |

There is not 1 policy for both.
However, you can purchase a homeowners policy and a car insurance policy with the same company. You will have to pay separate premium for each. |

Homeowners and auto policies are different, and cannot be combined onto one policy. But you can be billed on one billing statement for both policies, and any other policies that you may purchase through Nationwide Insurance, with the exception of business owners (commercial) insurance.
Nationwide Insurance will bill monthly, or you can have it withdrawn from your bank acount on a monthly basis.
See your local Nationwide agent for details. |

The homeowner's insurance I got when I bought my home (and still have) through Kemper required that I insure my vehicles through them too. It is all on one annual bill that hits me within days that first installement of property tax is are due. Although, the insurance can be paid in installments if you have not saved up the money in advance.
I never had insurance escrow and I got out of tax escrow when I refi'd to less interest for less years in 2005 (3 years after I bought my home).
I remember years ago when I had been paying vehicle insurance every 6 months, and they said congradulations, you qualify to pay your insurance annually (like that was a good thing to have to come up with all of the money at once). |

From state to state regulations change. There all policies in Michigan that you can put both your auto and home on the same policy. This is pretty rare. I think the better solution for you would be a company that allow combined billing. This would allow you to combine all policies and only make 1 payment. This is pretty common place in the industry. Check terms if you have payment plans. Good Luck |

There are several companies that combine home & auto on the same policy. Ones that come to mind are: Atlantic Mutual, Chubb, Peerless, OneBeacon (used to be Commercial Union), CNA, Union Mutual. Most of them also add Personal Umbrella & Peerless will add more than one home & boats.
Many other companies account bill (so if you miss a payment, all your policies will still cancel).
These all work with independent agents, some of these write in more states than others so I do not know if these write in your state.
Call a few independent agents in your area, see if any of these names are listed in the yellow pages under any agencies. |

Most Insurance companies do. I myself an Agent in Ohio write for Farmers Insurance Group and not only do we offer both but you get a very substantial discount... you would need to refer to your agent |

They can't be combined on one policy, but many companies will combine the billing. Travelers comes immediately to mind.
In my opinion, though, it's not a good idea to do it that way - becaus if you miss a payment, or a check bounces or something, then BOTH policies get cancelled. |

I don't think any companies issue them as one policy, they are much different products. If you pay monthly, most will combine them that way. |
