Hi .I really don't know were u living but all i know if you are in U.S there is Lot of agency that could help u to get health insurance for almost nothing and also lets say you don't have any insurance and u need to get to the doctors I'm very sure they will do anythings to keep u alive no matter u have money or insurance this is how is work . but here u can check this web if u are living in U.S just go to

Even though I come from a country that provides health care/welfare no matter where you are from, there are always organisations that care for people who need it, ask your local medical provider as they tend to have all the information readily available. just remember though that this was an issue that at the time could not be helped so remember the life that was lived and loved not what could've been |

without medical insurance, seeking medical care is very very costly. Drugs in themselves are very expensive as well. The poor generally don't have the health benefits that companies provide to middle/high class, so it makes it harder for them to seek proper medical care. Sometimes, there are free clinics that can provide care to the poor and needy but these are scarce and often very crowded. This is a pretty important issue especially in the upcoming election where universal health care is discussed a lot. |

Sounds like your dad made some bad choices that left him poor and uninsured.
If he died of liver failure he was probably a drunk.
Hard working taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for the well being of losers.
NOW, would you give up hundreds of dollars every month to the first bum you see begging in the street? No, well thats how hard working taxpayers feel about losers that don't work to support themselves. |

Well, there are SEVERAL programs available - Medicare, for the disabled and those over 65, Medicaid, for the super low income, and every state has a Children's Health Insurance Program for kids. Plus, no hospital will turn away someone with a life threatening emergency. |

There is Medicare and Medicaid for those who needs help; and if you need to be treated, and cant afford the treatment, most hospitals have programs to help as well. |
