I have a rental property in OH. My tenants said something flew off the house and damaged their car. Is this a claim for their renters insurance or my homeowners insurance?

Go to the Human Resources or Benefits department at your employer, and ask them what information they'll need. Do it right away, however--many plans have short time periods in which you can add a new spouse (most commonly, 30 days). |

Tell your boss or human resource manager ASAP & fill out the paperwork now. Your new spouse can be covered on the first day of the month after the wedding.

Talk to your boss, or your HR department.
You may have to wait for open enrollment to add her on unless it is due to an emergency (like she lost her job, or is pregnant...) Most companies work this way, so talk to your boss first. |

call human relations ASAP after your married(within a month), they're going to need a copy of your marriage certificate...that's if the company you work for is big enough, if not you might be able and will have to do it yourself, call blue shield, pay out of pocket and all that stuff |

if your a new employee you can enroll her when you get yours. if you just want to add her to your existing ins. most companies have an open enrollment period.you will have to wait for the open period to ad her. talk to your human resources dept to find out for sure. because theres a change in your family status you might be able to add her as soon as you get married. |

Well, you tell your boss you have a qualifying event, and the boss should give you some paperwork to send in to the insurance company. Then, you need to follow up to make sure it gets sent in. |
