How do i check to see if my insurance covers maternity?
I finally got my BFP test results and im insured (i think...i mean i am insured but don't know if it covers maternity). But now im starting to wonder if my dad's insurance on me covers maternity. Call the 800 number on the back of your card. Ask them.
(Most insurance plans do cover maternity benefits. Why wouldn't they? It's a medical condition just like any other.)
While you've got them on the phone, you might want to make sure how long they'll cover you if you leave school, or if they have a minimum number of credits you need to take in order to maintain your coverage.
Or have your dad check into all this stuff for you through his HR people at work.

Sorry to burst your happy bubble. You may be covered, but the baby most likely will not be covered after birth. Start looking at your options now so that once the baby is born you have coverage ready. Babies (even healthy ones) are expensive!!

YOUR WRONG - rtfm - there are allot of of insurance plans that do NOT cover maternity !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
