How do i get medical treatment when i can't afford the deductible?
is there some trick to get around or solve this

Depending on what you need done, you may be able to work a deal out with your physician. If you let the doctor know what you can afford he or she may be willing to reduce their rate. Not all doctors will do this but I have heard it happening on more then one occasion.

If you really need help, any hospital must give you necessary care. What they won't tell you is that every hospital has to have a program to assist those that cannot afford it. When you go, you have to ask for their special programs for payment. It can be on a sliding scale or even free if you qualify and you do NOT have to be on welfare to get this service.

If you truly need medical care, you MUST get it. However, don't pay anything at the time of service - let your insurance company be billed first by the doctor's office. Your insurance company will then tell the doctor how much to bill you for - usually less than if you were a cash-paying patient. If it's still too much for you to afford right then, set up a payment plan with the provider - as long as you're reasonable and make the payments, they have no reason not to accept them.

If you can, set up an HSA (health savings account) - it's some pretax money you put aside that you can use for ANYTHING medically related - copays, deductibles, even some over the counter medications. And, the newer ones you can roll over year to year.

My company offers a great medical plan, that has no deductable. You can use it with your exsisting insuarance or is a great plan all on its own. Please e-mail me for more info.

Sure, just talk to the provider's billing office to work out a payment arrangement.
