You would need to go to a broker who sells business insurance. There are brokers who specialize in entertainment insurance policies and can write you a liability policy for your reptile shows. More than likely they will need to go to Lloyd's to find a policy to suit your needs but they are out there. Good luck to you. |

Do you belong to any Exotic Reptile clubs - perhaps they could recommend an agent for you. Contact your personal ins agent and see if they can recommend someone. This is pretty specialized insurance and not everyone will write it. Do you know anyone else in this business - ask them for a referral. |

Most insurance companies you have heard of, the big ones will not insure you, too high of a risk. There is a company I've heard of, Lloyd's of London and they insurer this type of risk. I would try there. Also professional organizations or search the internet for types of groups that may have formed for the sole purpose of obtaining insurance. I would expect to pay a rather steep premium. |

Just call a local independent agency and ask for a quote! It will be specialty insurance, as long as the reptiles aren't poisonous and don't come into contact with the audience, I'd imagine you should be able to get it for less than $5,000 a year. |
