The simple answer is...we don't sell products, we provide solutions. For example, my niche is in Estate Planning. By providing a solution to reduce or eliminate a tax problem, it doesn't matter what I am selling, my clients are going to buy it.
It's the same with anything else you sell, your client won't buy the car until he is convinced that he will get more girlfriends with it. So, become a specialist in something, then market that concept or solution aggressively through seminars or articles. |

All of the above. You have to have a GREAT product - fill someone else's gap. You have to KNOW your product, and recognize the gaps in someone else's product. You have to be respectful to the client, and honest - trust me, it carries over.
With some risks, you have to creatively, BUT HONESTLY, come up with unique solutions that no one else has thought of.
The bottom line is, it's about putting a great product out in front of the client, at a competitive price; letting the client get to know you, then you just let the PRODUCT close the deal. |
