Look up your state government most states have an insurance program for people that will cover most simple things. My oldest son has state insurance. Also most colleges have an insurance plan that you can purchase for a reasonable fee. |

You will have to consult your plan insurer to see if he can still qualify as a dependent. If not, get quotes from an insurance broker that handles individual health plans. |

He needs to get a job - very few out there offer health for part-time but since he wants to go to college part time (which he has already dropped out of once) he should work at the same time. If your employer will provide it as he is in college and under the age of 24 (ask your HR director) then go for it.
If your work cannot supply it - you need to cut the apron strings and make him be a man or he will be clinging to them forever - like my brother. |

The best option would be fore him to get a job with a big company! I know Starbucks offers health insurance with part time jobs as well. Walmart, Lowe's, Home Depot. |

There are some cases where your employer would cover his helathcare costs up to age 25. It might be a good idea to have an insurance agent look over your policy for you. The answer however is probably no. Where does your son work at? If he meets the very strict financial requirements he can get coverage threw medicaid but he has to be dirt poor. However, your insurance company may give you an option to either add him onto your policy or give him a seperate policy at a low rate. But for the best rates and coverage he needs to have a group insurance policy rather than an individual one b/c he will have much better vcoverage and rates. M<y advice is similar to the former opinions and that is to get with a company which gives employees the option to take out health coverage. |

Not unless you work 4 the state or something. He needs 2 be a full time student 2 be added 2 your insurance or have a full time job. If he gets covered himself I wanna say its about $70 a month depending on if he smokes & stuff theyll ask health ?s |

You can shop for coverage on the individual market. Aetna has attractive rates for people in his age group.

You can buy health insurance online. Even Blue Cross Blue Shield has reasonable priced plans. Plan on paying $200-300 per month per single person depending on coverage. |

Are you sure he is not covered on a parent policy or allowed to pay more through your policy or another parent's. Check into this first cause it might be a cheap way. Ask the college insurane this question sometimes there are things we don't know about where he might fit in under certain guidelines. There might also be a low income insurance through your state. |

go to this site www.thehealthbenefits.org the plan are from 19.95 - 59.95 for entire family. No pre-existing required, no waiting period. I have found that this is the most effective plan because I do not need to go to the dr every month or often. Just when I am feeling ill etc. So instead of paying 384 per mo. including co-pay. I am paying 29.95 per mo. I am saving every month and my network are great. Good luck to you. |
