Contact a local independent agent to find out your options. Most companies will not write a policy for people over 65. There are some indemnity plans available, the agent will be able to help you if one is available in your area.
If you are younger than 65 and disabled there may be a chance, depending upon the disability. The agent can help there as well. |

Contact Blue Cross/Blue Shield for a supplemental policy. If you are under 65, it may be cheaper just to have an ordinary policy, but presumably, you are disabled, so maybe wouldn't otherwise qualify. |

Look in the telephone yellow pages and find an agent. Ask lots of questions, if you don't care for that agent, get another one until you find one that you feel comfortable with. They should be able to find you a policy that should fit your needs. |
