I am looking for a way that can save me even more on my auto and homeowner's insurance. Can anybody share me their best way to save on their auot and homeowner's insuarnace?
I save $760.00 this year on my auto and home oner's insurance thanks to my friend. All I did is I call 1-877-855-8111 using the PIN#: KXMC9 and Rep Last Name: DU. Within 10 minutes, I got quotes from nine difference inurance companies and I pick the best price quote which happen to be The Hartford. I cancel my policy from AAA and pick Hartford and I save $760.00. I am very happy about the service and the money I save. :)

Homeowners: RAISE DEDUCTIBLES. Like, to at least $1,000.
Auto: drive cars over 4 years old. And don't have kids drive.

I saved ~$600 a year by using the same company for both auto and homeowner's insurance (they had been separate). They called it a multi-line discount (more than one insurance product line). Best bet is to shop around. Internet quotes are a good start, but I still find that talking with actual agents makes the process much easier and more informative.

If you have an insurance agent, call them up and ask them to shop your policy for a lower premium. If you don't have an agent, shop it yourself...but an agent is a lot better at that.
Don't raise your deductible to an unreasonable, unaffordable amount. Of course raising your deductible(s) will save you money, but if you raise higher than your disposable savings then you defeat the purpose of even having insurance.
