Insurance will cover it if you complain of back pain and other health issues. My insurance covered mine 100% ($8,000) in Northern Virginia. |

you have to read the policy to know what is covered or isn't.
they'll argue that the proposed procedure is cosmetic in nature and therefore not covered, so you'll need to get your proofs in apple pie order AND get pre-approval or they'll pay nothing.
after they get really insistent on not covered and if you think you still have a case, complain to your state insurance commissioner's office. |

You have to get a doctor to say that the surgery is NOT cosmetic. |

Try starting out with a letter of recommendation from your Family Doctor, and a chiropractor, or someone who has treated your back problems. The insurance company most likely already has a list of requirements in place for approving the procedure, just find out what you need to do, and follow the requirements closely....if you meet the requirements, you should not have a problem getting approved. |

Hey I know what you mean.I got my first bra at 9yrs old,by the time I was 12 I was a 34 c.Now I am 38DDD.My back curved in close to the tail bone more than it should be.That was because I tried to compensate the weight in the front. Now my neck, shoulders and back hurt from it.I'm just too scared to get the reduction.I do think the insurance com.does pay if it is for health reasons.Good Luck♥ |
