It totally depends on what state you live in, how old you are, whether or not you are married, whether or not you've had any other claims before, whether or not you have a good driving record, whether or not you have a good credit score, how long you've been driving, what kind and age of car you drive, how many miles you'll be driving per year, how large the home is, how old the home is, what materials it is made out of, whether or not there is a fire hydrant close by, whether or not you have a professional, full time fire department, what kind of roof shingles you have, whether or not you have sprinklers in the home, how much in personal possessions you have......etc, etc, etc.
There are a bazillion rating factors that go into whether or not an insurer will even write you a policy or how much that policy will cost.
It is far too difficult an equation to answer a simple question like yours....
That being said, you can find out the 'average' homeowners and auto premiums by state by checking out the website of the Insurance Information Institute. They've got both of those listed state by state, but it is an average of all policies sold in a given state. |

well first you need the variables. my husbands truck is 120.00 every 6 months , my van is 87.00 every six month. my daughters 1993 dodge shadow is 300.00 every six month. then you have to take into consideration how much of a deductable you are going to put down. now we only have liability because are vehichles are paid for if you have to add colision it will be more.
the house is based on the replacement cost of it. so if you buy a 100,000 dollar house it will be less then a 300,000 dollar house. Guess you have a lot of homework to do. Then you can contact allstate on line and get your quotes. I always get 3 quotes before I buy insurance. |

Auto insurance depends on (1) your driving record (i.e. have you had any claims in the past 5 years) and (2) what make your vehicle is and how old it is (alot of this depends on how many thefts, etc. a particular model is prone to). For instance, I have Allstate insurance and on my 1998 Windstar I was paying $2,400/year, then I bought a 2003 Chrysler Sebring and the insurance cost was $1,2000/year. The older cheaper vehicle was exactly double. Who can figure that out?
House insurance goes by how much you want to insure... if you want to cover $20,000 of contents, it costs maybe $300/year and each additional $10,000 of coverage will cost another maybe another $100.00/year. Something like that. |

it depends totally on where you live and what you are insuring...for example a 100k house wont' cost you what a 300k house will.....a 72 pick up wont cost you the same as a 2007 BMW.......all that matters.....utilities..that varies too.....depending on where you live and what your usage is....not a funny or interesting answer, I understand, but insurance and utilities are not funny or interesting.....they are a necessary evil.....!!!!! |

Ya know, in Florida, it could cost $10,000, and in Iowa, it could cost $1,000. It depends on a TON more factors.
