I have customers that pay $10 month to $200 a month. Its too hard to give your a range with out much info.

Insurance prices vary from state to state. It also depends what kind of coverage you want. In NC you can get liability for about $140 per year. You need to contact your agent for more info. |

Take the guess work out of it and go to Progressive.com. You can get a quote on line that will take into account your age, make and model of motorcycle, driving record etc. If you answer the questions honestly the quote will be accurate to the penny.
There are other on line companies you can use but I have personal experience with Progressive and they have been insuring motorcycles for many many years. |

Either six months, or a full year, depending on your state and how the policy was set up.

The best thing you can do is call a local independent insurance agent that specializes in insuring motorcycles. Just look in your phone book for the PIA or Big I (Trusted Choice) and you will be able to find an agent that will probably have 4 or 5 different motorcycle companies to choose from to help you solve your insurance needs.
The rate will depend on a LOT of things but let me give you a simple hint: The more you have to lean over on the bike to ride it, the higher your premium will be. In other words, the closer you can come to sitting up straight, the LOWER your rates will be.
Now what does it cost? I can insure someone on a motorcycle for liability only for as little as $46 per year, for minimum limits required by law. We try NOT to write it and if we do, we normally charge an agent fee (which is LEGAL in Texas.)
