Estimated $70 to $100 for liability only. $130 to $150 for full coverage. That's on a clean record. Add 2 accidents and you can double or even triple that amount. |

Tough question. Is this 19yr old a male or female? Females typically get better rates, because they are considered safer drivers. Is he/she going to be on your policy or separate? Does he/she have an "insurance friendly" vehicle? A 19yr old driving an SUV is going to pay more than a 19yr old driving a Ford Escort. Does he/she have any driving violations? It depends on your driving record, the type of vehicle, the area you live in also. I'm guess for full coverage it will be at least $200 or more a month. |

Is your state a same sex state, meaning than men and women pay the same for auto Insurance?
Does the driver have a squeaky clean record?
Do you want full coverage with high deductibles or liability only?
For a young driver, if they are living at home with Parents, this would be the best option.
The Hartford is pretty good with younger drivers. I would agree with John B, probably at least $200 a month |

Car insurance rates are always much higher for an unmarried male under the age of 25. Keep that in mind when searching for insurance, because the rate may be high now, and much lower later. |
