How much is considered full-time student to my insurance company?
Okay, I got braces on yesterday but I think I have to be a full time student in order to receive benefits. But how many hours is full time in Alabama. Plus we are on Christmas break so what now. I mean I'm enrolled 7 hours for next term but I'm out for about 4 weeks. I know you might not know exactly for Alabama but whats average?
12 credit hours is usually standard in every state.
Chris
are you talking about college? im pretty sure its 12 credits to be a full time student
Lisa
12 credit hours is considered full-time.

It's not what the company thinks is full time it is what the school considers full time. Check your school policy to see if you are a full time student. Your christmas break is not a problem so long as you are enrolled as full time student. I have never seen a school with 7 hours considered a full time student.

You need to ask the specific company. 12 semester hours is typical.

As I remember they can provide very cheap rate for students.
