I don't know about Tennessee but here in Arkansas I was able to get a Family PPO Policy with Mercy Health for $175 a month. co-pay on doctor and prescriptions. I got my policy thru my local bank, they had an insurance division that gave me several options |

Ummm asthma is a health issue.
You will most likely pay $750 or more per month depending on what you get. If you get a super-high deductible you could get it cheaper.
You need to talk to some insurance agents.

Are you talking about HEALTH insurance, or CAR insurance, or BUSINESS insurance?
Depending on your daughter's asthma, assuming you're talking about health insurance, most companies are either going to increase the rate, or flat out not cover asthma related stuff.
But the average family plan, costs about $1,000 a month for a low/no deductible plan. Yours, with an asthmatic, would be more.
Online quotes, what they do is give you the best rates they have. Not underwritten, so that once you tell them your daughter has asthma, they say, oh, well, we won't cover her. Or, oh, it's going to be double that. Plus, they harvest your information, for online quotes, and sell it to agents for leads.
You're probably best off going to talk to a local, independent agent - like the guy that's writing your business insurance - to see if he knows a local health guy, and getting the health insurance through HIM. |
