How the heck does a 16 year old can afford a car or motorcycle insurance?
I got with my insurance broker about the insurance cost of a car and it would average to be 187 monthly... IM 16 I WORK 2 JOBS AND I DONT HAVE THAT MUCH $$$.

Some 16-year-olds get their parents to pay for their insurance. If your parents will not pay for your insurance, then you have to wait until you are older to get a car or motorcycle.

if you are 16 you only have a permit, the only driving you will do is with someon in the car who already has insurance. So, 16 year olds dont need insurance yet but will very very soon!!!
How does a 17 year old or an 18 year old afford it?? Usually mom and dad help out until they are older and have more income.

The cheapest policy is the one with the least coverage - and it will vary wildly by state.
Buying an old junker for cash, will let you carry minimum limits only, which will be the cheapest.

I work in insurance and have done for 25 years. For drivers under 25, we have never had a choice and have had to be expensive as that age group make so many claims that we actually lose money on that age group and have to pass the cost on to other customers. It wouldn't be fair on other customers to charge the young drivers less and pass on even more of the cost to other customers.
A lot of companies have stopped insuring this age group altogether as there have been insurers who have lost so much money on younger drivers that they have gone out of business, but the only reason we continue to insure them is that we are hoping that if we get the young driver, the rest of his family may insure with us and the young driver may stay with us when he is older.

You do not say what coverage the broker offered you. Get an old car or old motorcycle that needs just liability.
You should be fine with that. But it varies by state.
