How to become good advisor.?

Learn to ask better questions. Seriously.

When you ask someone a question in the right way, they feel obligated to give you the answer. Asking good questions can show your level of expertise, demonstrate that you care, and give you information you might not otherwise have. To be a good advisor, you need to do all those things.

Oh, and learn your field backwards and forwards, but that's obvious.

Listen, listen and listen! Do not give unsolicited advice and don't pretend that you understand a person's problems if you don't. Most people just need a shoulder to cry on. You would also do well to do an accredited course on councilling and start reading some books on the subject in the meantime.

Number 1 - Education. You have to know what you are talking about. (You can't fake it)

Number 2 - Develop the ability to listen not merely the ability to make a sales pitch.

Number 3 - Advise on the basis that your first priority is that you want to help your clients not on the basis of securing wealth for yourself.

Try to relate to the person who you are helping. Maybe help people who have problems that you already faced. Good luck!
