yes, there's lots of software to prepare and compare quotes from different carriers, it even writes your proposals. I haven't seen any agencies in the past 15 years that DON'T have a comparative rater for both property casualty and life/medical insurance lines.
Different factors, well, there are tons!! But are you talking about car insurance, life insurance? Too many variables here . . . |

A quotations is calculated by a very long formula and depending on the violations, vehicle, coverage, and designated risk there will be different values to be plugged in. Therefore, a rating software is used to compare all at once. It would take you probably 15-20 minutes to calculate a rate manually. |
