My emloyer is payin for me. Pretty much family plan. The coverage has been pretty good. I'm still young...28 wife is younger with 2 small kids. No regular prescriptions......no medical problems. |

$400 is very inexpensive for family coverage.
Unless you have an extremely high deductible, I'd bet that your employer is actually kicking in money towards your premiums in addition to your $400.
($400 doesn't buy a whole lot of coverage for a family if you're purchasing and paying for the whole thing yourself.) |

yeah....depends on the insur company. sucks up a lot of money don't it. You could be putting that money in an account yourself and collecting the interest and only use it for medical things. I mean really ....how often do you go to the doctors anyway. |

Nope, it's very, very low. Family plans cost between $800 and $1200 a month.
Maybe your employer is paying some of it? |
