Read about LIC policies, also if possible get idea on Competitors like MAX, ICICI etc. Read current affairs. Prepare for general questions like What u want to be in next 5 Years? Why u want to join LIC? How will you convince some one to buy LIC policy??
Dress smart and clean, Don't forget to shave. When sitting don't shift too much in the chair, keep your hands where they are comfortable and don't rub them.

Are you joining the LIC on the marketig side or as a Consultant or regular employee in the Administrative services of the Corporation? You need to examine your competence from that angle and prepare accordingly. Read well on LIC and its infrastructure. If you are a Civil Engineer you will do well to look into the structural and Architectural aspects of some of the Landmark buildings of the Corporation bearing the name YOGAKSHEMA. If in Communications ,find out the network now being used by them and think of ways in which your expertise can help them.
On the whole see yourself asa new valuable addition to LIC'S POOL OF EXPERTS. YOU WILL THEN EASILY BECOME ONE. |

First and foremost knew what is the co. all about. and according to the designation your applying prepare yourself if marketing you have to know the techniques to attract the customers, you have to knew the policies offered by the co. If HR related you have to know about the man power of the co. and the rest related to man power, i don't think you can enter into finance as your BE graduate.
Prepare and to know about the policies not in detail but at least something. Because something is better than nothing. Fluency is very important, attracting the customers is very important, you should be very frank, shouldn't hide, you need to bend towards the customer. have always the positive attitude, keep the goal and run towards it. |
