Have you tried talking to someone else from the company?
My son was in a car accident a few years ago--we also had a rude, arrogant, butthead we had to deal with. We had to go over her head to get someone to help us. We also wrote a complaint to the company. She has since been fired.
Try talking to others at the place and if you don't get some
satisfaction go to another company. |

What is exactly that you do not like they have done? Check the service levels - as you may have different expectations from what is being offered. A theft claim can take some time with regards to proof of ownership, gather relevant information. As an insurance manager I would encourage you to say why you are not happy, what you think has gone wrong and to give the company a chance to rectify the situation or explain why things have happen. I would say to work out what you want to say, what you think the out come should be. |

You need to call your AGENT, tell them you're having problems with the claim, and have your AGENT intercede to get this taken care of.
Your agent can give you the list of exactly what steps you need to take to get the claim closed, and can ALSO follow up with the adjuster to keep things moving in a timely manner.
In my experience, if you have an A rated insurance company, the MAIN difference in service is what AGENT you have - the agent can make all the difference in the world. |

You won't be able to apply for any kind of compensation until following through their complaints procedure until exhaustion. Have you started that process?
Also, they are not likely to hand out compensation because you don't like the way they are dealing with it. You haven't lost out on anything so why should they give you money?
Just vote with your feet and change insurer when it comes up for renewal. |
