Yes, you can request this from the Social Security Administration. Go to www.ssa.gov. and click on the link "Your Social Security Statement." It will tell you how to request a copy of your earnings record. That's the thing you want. They'll send it to you by mail.

When I as looking for a copy of mind of how much I had paid into social security, I had to go the the Social Security office, and they printed me out a print out showing how much I have paid into the system.
