There are policies for 10 years.
You can close this at any time after 3 years.
Sum Assured means, the amount you'll get as an Insurance cover if something happens to you. Sum Assured is 3 to 10 times of your premium. If you invest 2000 pm, you'll get 2.4 lakhs insurance cover.
You should ask for fund value after 10 years not Sum Assured. You'll get at least 6 lakhs after 10 years. You can expect even 12 lakhs if you invest correctly.
If you need more information, you can mail me at
kallurikiran@yahoo.co.in
or call me on 91-9884 810 710.

kiran. |

Instead of investing in Life Insurance, I suggest you to take Term Plan Which gives you more sum assure on less premium. i.e. SA Rs. 1000000/- & Premium approx 4000/- to 5000/- Per Annum & rest of your amount you invest in Mutual Funds with SIP Mode.
This will cover your Insurance need as well as Investment need.
I'll explain u further if u call me at 09814054569 |

Insurance is not for investment. Invest in Mutual fund to see your money grow. |

Hi.
I suggest you increase this period to a term of 12 years for better returns.
Ofcourse, if you looking at the option wherein, you may not pay any premium in the years you wish and also withdraw anytime before 12 years, then ULIPs are the best options insurance companies can offer.
Jeevan saral is another product which can be decent for you. It allows withdrawals. But premium HAS to be paid annualy. Returns are expected to be good, because LIC is exempted from certain taxes on incomes from this product. (Special exemption provided by government of india).
One of the other options can be one product that I have designed. I have named it Jeevan Saral Plus. You may view it here: http://www.freewebs.com/insuranceavenues/oursolutions.htm
I have my contact number on that site too. Hope you find my efforts worthwhile. |

Hi, it depends on which policy you are going to take. Here I assume that you are talking about Unit Linked Insurance Plan. In ULIPs the money is invested in the stock market, so you will come to know the actual value only after 10 years. Yes, in between you can keep yourself updated about the value of the funds. For eg. you can take out a status report after some years and find out what is the actual value of your fund. Yes you can close the account in between but you stand to lose a bit. Earlier you close, greater will be the loss. So its better to continue for a long period say 6-7 years or so.

Insurance companies have launched several plans. ULIPs are the most sought ones non a days. In LICs ulip plans you can invest monthly. Fill up the ECS mandate alongwith the application form. This option can also be exercised at a later state. You may take a cover of a minimum of 5 times the annualised premium. ULIPs are a mix of investment and insurance.
ULIPs are just like Mutual Funds. The fund value may go up or down depending upon the conditions of the market .dependent. Therefore, one can not tell the exact figure beforehand.
One more advice:
If your aim is investment you have better options. For risk cover consider taking TERM INSURANCE, for larger amounts, which has a low premium.
You can invest in Mutual Funds in monthly instalments throug ECS.
Keep your investment and insurance independent of on another.
good luck!!! |
