I have insurance with a $2500 deductible and my insurance only allows my dr's office to charge $1600, but they want it all upfront and will not allow me to pay payments. I am almost 5 months pregnant or at least I think I am. I was supposed to get an ultrasound to verify but they made me cancel my appt. due to not having the money upfront. Is there anywhere I can go for assistance?

After reading some of the responses I just wanted to say that I have been trying to get into the dr. since early March and I have been fighting with the billing department ever since. I tried to find another doctor but I have been going to this same dr for 4 years and I am getting a tubal after this baby is born and I do not want a dr I do not know doing surgery on me. This is child #4 and was a surprise for us and I am just frustrated with the billing department not the doctors. I was hoping to come up with some sort of assistance so that I could come up with the money when I get my tax stimulus check. Thank you all for your input and insight I appreciate it all.
