Start at the point where you got lost. If it's algebra, let it be. Math takes practice and it's very easy if you do enough exercises and think through what you're doing. Get a tutor, or register for a college course. College courses are not expensive if you register as an auditor (not for grade listener). |

practice. Start counting. Start estimating. Look at a bunch of something. Guess the total, count and see how close. Ask yourself how you can be closer to the right number. Play math games with yourself. I'm half way there, so that's .5. I'm a third way there, that's 1/3, 2/3 to go. etc. |

Math is not all that great, can you add and subtract simple numbers. That is all you need, that is why we have calculators. All you have to do is get good enough grades, which don't have to be all that good. Not everyone has to be good at everything, let the math people do the math. |

Practice, practice, practice. Get a tutor. Do lots of homework. Check out online math help. There are plenty of those. Just do a google search. |

I would suggest on getting a private tutor, or going to evening classes..
I had a private tutor, someone who used to teach me in school, and it helped alot.. I would not have passed my exams if I didn't have the help from him..
Look online or in colleges or wherever these things are in your area..
Evening courses may be good, because you will have other people to talk to as well as the teacher..
I went to english evening classes to help me with an exam and it was great..
There are also some good books out there, and there are also some CDs for your computer you can buy to help you..
Both are good.. I would reccomend buying a CD for your computer, they are interactive and make it fun also!
