I broken my nose at my friend house on his table and he as $300,00 in home insurance how much should i get ?

Well, the only thing you'll "get" without suing him, is his medical payments limit - which is usually around $500. And you have to submit medical bills, they'll pay up to your medical bills amount - which you'll have to pay to the hospital or doctor.

If you want to SUE him for anything besides medical bills, you'll have to prove that the nose is HIS fault. And if he deliberately hit you, it's not covered. If you slipped on a non-defective floor, or walked into a wall out of carelessness, you're not going to win.

He's/She's your friend, you only need enough for the Dr. bill or they won't be your friend for long!!!

Enough to pay the doctor to repair your nose.

Depends on how you broke your nose - maybe nothing if there wasn't negligence involved on his part. If there was, you'd be compensated for your out-of-pocket expenses like medical bills.

Unless it was his fault that you hit his table, you should get out your wallet and pay your medical bills yourself. It's not his fault if your clumsy.

did he trip you, push you throw you into the table? Otherwise, the most should be the cost of the medical bills for the broken nose.

integragirl4444
If the accident was your fault then you won't get anything, otherwise you'll get the bill paid but that's it.

Dude, You were at your friends house, smoking a little, sucking down a few beers, got a little wasted and while trying to walk and yank the old crank at the same time, you fell into his table. He should get all the money for the damage you caused his table and if you broke your nose then he should get extra money for all the blood stains on the carpet.

Unless he was negligent, you'll only be "eligible" (cough) for the amount of your medical bills, up to the maximum amount of medical payments on his homeowners policy.

To get any more than that, you'd have to sue him and try to collect under his liability limits. If you do, you'll likely lose (unless he was obviously negligent), you'll also likely lose your friend -- and his insurance premiums will likely go up by about 60% (and that's assuming that they don't flat out cancel him.)

Enough to shut the f**k up and admit that you were drunk and it's your fault. What , did the table jump up and punch you in the nose?
