I got a hospital bill that is over 2 years old am i liable to pay it?
The good news you can send a letter to the hospital and get a copy of the bill to see if it is a debt you owe, then pay it off a $5.00 a month till it's paid off.
My sister took over 10 year to pay a hospital, but she paid it off.
You can too!

Yes. There's no statute of limitations for bills for services rendered.

Do you have insurance. If you had insurance 2 years ago and they did not file the claim till now then you are not liable for the bill. They have to file in a timely manner , generally 12 to 18 months after service was rendered. Now if they did file the claim and insurance was disputing them then yes you have to pay and if you had no insurance at the time then you are held liable for it. If it is more than you can pay you can call the finacial dept and arrange payments.

I would certainly question them on why it took them so long to bill you for services rendered so long ago also if you have insurance I would contact them and ask if they paid any of the bill and the amount.
I do believe that there is a statute of limitations on billing in some states so I would also check with Gov's office and ask them about this.
