Well as you at least you are aware now that 12 points and youre banned i can only guess some of the 14 were gotten 3 years b4 the last lot if you still have your lisence. The best way is to get someone you know (preferably with no points) to insure the car for them and any driver and you drive it. But check to make sure youre not banned cos when they realise points and bans dont stop you they put you in jail! |

i always understood you get banned after 12 points unless you are a judge or work for the filth or some other profession where you can get away with anything ,but with 14 points you simply wont get affordable insurance |

If you incur 12 or more penalty points within a period of three years you will be liable to be disqualified under the ‘totting-up’ system. Information on your driving entitlement and endorsements are sent to the courts and police on request. |

there is an insurance company called Tradex who who are the insurance company of last resort, it doesnt mean that it will be affordable though! Good Luck |
