Most regular auto insurance companies will add gap coverage to your collision coverage, within 30 days of your purchasing a car. Many of them won't add it once the car has been owned more than 30 days, or even if the car you're buying is more than two or three years old.
Call your auto insurance company, and see if they'll add it.

Usually you can only get gap coverage at the time of purchase when you are financing a car. Also, its usually offerend through the finance company or you can get it through your current insurance company.
