If you have a judgment, and the debtor has not paid voluntarily, there are steps established with the court to help you find the information necessary to collect.
In the Connecticut court system, the next step would be "Post-Judgment Interrogatories." A form is sent to the debtor asking them where their assets are. If they do not respond, the you go to "Examination of Judgment Debtor." You file a request with the court to bring the debtor into court and question him under oath about the location of assets that you may be able attach.
The court will not do this for you. It is your responsibility, or your attorneys to do this. |

Sounds like you're going to need to file a lein against any property they might own. You're going to have to go back to your attorney, and try to collect.
If they don't have any assets, you're not going to be able to collect. This is what we call "judgement proof". |

If you cannot collect, you can sell the judgment to a collector. You won't get the full amount. It may be noncollectable if the person does not have the funds. |

Court? If they owe and are not paying, then take them to court. They can demand payment or garnish their income (doesn't have to be from a job, could be pension, investement money etc...) |
