It is usually the end of that business week, Could be the end of the month, generally depends on how the company pays the provider, unless they were really angry and called the Insurance company to have it terminated immediately, in which case COBRA should be offered ( that is when you can pick up the cost of the insurance to keep it for an extended amount of time). John (above) is incorrect. Federal law mandates that if your husband worked for a company with 20 or more full time employees then he must be offered COBRA continuation coverage for at least 18 months. Here is some more detailed information about how the COBRA laws work: |

That is entirely up to the company he worked for--you should be able to call the insurance company and ask. His employer would have that predetermined--it could be the same day, end of month, 3 months, etc...
Also, they need to offer him COBRA (it looks like a lot of people have posted information on here about that already so I won't bore you with it again lol) |

ok look you have 60 days get cobra if anything happens within the 60 days get cobra an your covered if he has an exciting condition get cobra then move to another plan with out showing proof of insurability. you wil however have to pay unpaid premiums from the first day if something happens on day 45 per say. your cancel at the buissness discretion |
