Normally it will cover dermatology. I suggest you call the number on the back of your card and ask the company you are with. Nobody here can tell you what your particular plan provisions are. However, I have never had a dermatology claim denied and have used them for both a pre-cancer spot(will always be covered as it is medically necessary) and for some acne on my face, also.

you need to check with the benifiets cordinator where you work or with your insurance rep. most policies will cover some types of visits but normally they have to be a referral by your primary doctor

Many plans exclude purely cosmetic medical expenses, but dermatology can involve underlying conditions that are more than just cosmetic. your particular plan will have details on what is covered and what isn't, as the HR department for information on what is covered or ask the Dermatologists office if they are familiar with your plan.

You need to check your policy. No one on here will know what you have and what it covers. If you have trouble call the customer service number on your insurance card and ask them.
