To my knowledge you can no longer GET terrorism insurance on most buildings insurance.
And your home insurance as a flat cannot be insured for terrorism. It has to be the buildings insurance which is for the whole block, and would be managed by the management company using your ground rent / service charge.
So, from your personal point of you, terrorism insurance shouldn't be an issue. |

Standard Buildings insurance is all you need for lenders (unless you are a flood area). Terrorism and acts of god are not covered on most buildings insurance policies. I have been to South East London, in fact I went to school there, I don't recall too many acts of terrorism lol. |

Suggest you talk to the bank you might want a mortgage from but as a former banker and now in business with a mortgage without terrorist insurance, I think you will find that terrorist insurance is not necessary for a residential mortgage. |
