I'm guessing that you are talking about a named non owner policy. Be careful, tho, a named non owner policy is for someone who DOES NOT HAVE A VEHICLE FURNISHED FOR REGULAR USE. So, if you are regularly driving your neighbors car, this policy is not intended for you. |

I think Mei-lin is correct.
Furthermore, even if you have this policy it likely will do you no good if the other car is insured. Most policies have a other insurance provision in it that talks about primary and secondary coverage. If the car has primary insurance on it, yours would end up being secondary and most likely not pay or pay on a pro-rata basis |

Hi puzzled,
Me too - so I use my freinds' business insurance, as a car dealer, and lo & behold. I can now drive anything up to big trucks, and as a registered driver, I get my personal 70% NCD !
I have just transferred that to Churchill Insurance, It is one way of going about it.
My sister is now insured to ride motorbikes, or drive tanks.
It is manipulation of the crazy system, not devious, or illegal, just fiddle it all in your direction.
Get back to me, and I shall explain in detail.

Chubb Insurance in the UK should be able to do that. They are not cheap thou and generally your car will have to be valued over £40,000. |
