Check with some friends for referrals. You can also check with a local independent insurance agent. He will usually have many different companies to choose from. No one company will always have the lowest rates, so this approach allows someone else to look for the best value and coverage for you.
Although most companies seem to figure your credit score into your insurance rates these days, there are some that do not. Your insurance agent can look to those companies if you let him know that your insurance/credit score might be an issue.

If you are a single male under 25, you arent going to find cheap insurance anywhere. Also it would depend on your driving record. If you are just starting out driving, you will be considered high risk, no matter what company you choose.
Just go get quotes from all the insurance companies. You will find that they arent that different.
Ok, if you are 29, why dont you have insurance now. The easiest way to get cheap insurance is to have insurance and a clean driving record for about 3 years. If you havent had insurance for awhile, then again, you are looked at as higher risk. |

Florida has special laws concerning auto insurance.
I would call Landa. They are in Texas but cover FL. I sue they and my dad uses them.
Liability should cost $25 a month.

Your best bet is using a local agent.
Just like jeans, one size does NOT fit all. Cheapest for one person is NOT necessarily cheapest for the next. There's no short cut, you HAVE to shop around to see who's cheapest for YOU. |

Check with GEICO. They're often the cheapest. You buy direct from the insurance company. They don't go through agents. |
