You may want to try Blue Cross & Blue Shield. I have heard pros and cons about them, but the pros outweigh the cons & they are one of the only companies that offer medical & dental in a package at affordable rates. |

As a small business owner myself, I feel for you! Trying to provide health insurance is a major expense. Your best bet is to actually go through a certified broker in your area. Although doing the leg work yourself is an option, the broker is usually able to negotiate a better cost then you will on your own.
Also, I would highly recommend you don't make my mistake and get pulled into Mega's little insurance scam. Although they had an excellent speech, when it came down to utilizing them, both myself and my employees had hell getting anything from them to the point where they were even denying everything their paperwork said they covered.

I would check with the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America site and go to your state's branch website. They can give you lots of information about insurance, and if you contact their office, they can tell you what the best companies are for your particular business. |
