I don't know where these people giving their opinions are getting their information from. There are many variables to determine if the deal you are getting is good. Deductible, Co-pays, Script Coverage, Co-Insurance, Out of pocket maximums and many other factors. You can go to many online sites and get comparative quotes from companies. |

Ok... I'm not certain exactly what your benefits are under those plans, or what your age is, but you're paying pennies.
The last job I had provided an excellent small group Blue Shield HMO, and when I started, covering just me (26 year old male, no deps) it cost $363 per month. That did not include dental or any of the other benefits. Fortunately, my employer paid for it, so it didn't break my pocket book, but know you are getting very low prices. |

Well, considering I pay $229 every two weeks which comes out to $496 a month for the same insurance with BCBS Basic, you are doing OK. After paying for insurance I get to take home $725 per month. |

that is about what we pay - maybe even a little bit less - we have health insurance plus extra dental for the whole family... i dont like it but i am happy we have health insurance - in case we ever need it |
