That depends on what was insured and if you have a loan out on that. For example: If it was your homeowners insurance and you have a mortgage your bank will force place insurance, not good, it is very very expensive. The same goes for your auto insurance. But if you don't have leins out on the property that is now not insured, just get your insurance re-instated as soon as possible. |

This means that you are not insured at this time, however there is a grace period before they notify the DMV (in california). If you can you want to contact your carrier and let them know that you want to reinstate the policy. Do this as soon as possible and you might even avoid a charge to reinstate. Good Luck ! |

The best thing to do is to call them ASAP and tell them you're sending them a payment right away. There usually is a grace period after the premium is due. I'm assuming you're talking about life or auto insurance. You don't want those policies to lapse. Especially if something happens when you're uninsured. |

If you let your insurance lapse, then you are uninsured at this time.
I suggest you call your agent/company and see what your options are.
You might still be able to reinstate the policy, OR you will just have to rewrite it. Dont waste time here asking the question.
