Look at the old sales illustration or quotation of the insurance company few years ago.
Does the actual bonus / rate of return matches the projected figure / bonus declared / rate of return over 2002,03,04,05?
History figures speak louder than anything else.If all the figures are widely vary, then you should avoid this type of company. |

All the insurance companies come under IRDA - Insurance Regulatory Development Authority - So u need not worry about any insurance companies or their policies- whatever they claim in writing is assured.
It depends on ur requirement as to whether u r looking for just insurance cover as risk coverage or investment options or something else.
