Do you know who his attorney is? Or, you can find out who paid for the funeral, by asking the funeral home. Usually when you have life insurance, the check goes to the funeral home. They take out what the costs are and then the funeral home gives the rest of the check to the beneficiary. |

If you were named as the beneficiary, you'll be able to cash in the policy, but you have to have some idea where the policy is through. If you know the company, try contacting their customer service department or an insurance agent and they can tell you the information you'll need to process the claim. You won't be able to get that info of the net, it's protected information. |

Check his policy! Unless you are saying that you know he is insured but don't know with whom and how much.
Check his cheque butt, his bank statement, etc. and you may find the names of the insurance company/ies in them.
Then call up the insurance companies to find out. But due to privacy and fear of fraud you may need to have some form of proof or perhaps a Statutory Declaraction, etc. in place. |

You will need to know the insurance company name and the policy numbers. Without this info, I don't know how you will find out unless you are a beneficiary and the proceeds end up in your state's unclaimed money fund. |

you cant find it on the net, you would have to have the policy or policy number and call the life insurance company. If it was through something like AARP then it was proably not much maybe 10,000-20,000.00. If it was through a company he worked for it is usually 1-3 times his salary. If he bough his own it could have been 5,000- 2 million depending on what he was willing to pay and what kind of health he was in when he purchased the policy |
