See this http://gsx1.com/InsuranceComparison.html take the quote, they'll come back with prices from different insurers in your area. It's very quick and free of charge.
But to find a cheap price you should get several quotes, do some legwork till something really cheap will come along.

If you buy an oldish Corolla, they are cheap to insure and fair on gas, get liability only and that's the cheapest type of cover you may get.
But get several quotes, try them all, they are free so find the cheapest one, it's out there.

Car insurance is usually sold as 6 month or 1 year policies and it is up to individual insurance companies to allow you to make monthly payments. If you do make monthly payments you are usually assessed an extra fee to allow this. Go to AAA.com, esurance.com, progressive.com or Statefarm.com and see if they have monthly payments available. Rates will vary due to age, where you live, type of car you have and your driving history as well as credit history.

Good luck!

I would suggest going to "gocompare.com" or "confused.com" they will select a number of motor insurance companies, which you can check and see which ones will let you pay monthly.I would think you will have to have a Bank or Building Society Current Account to make the payments from and of coarse money to pay for them

I would suggest you pay more than monthly if you can afford to since insurance carriers charge administrative fees for paying monthly.

Have you tried Geico or Progressive? Those are monthly and they will cover you over the phone with a check payment. Those companies only charge 25-30% as a down payment of the total term policy which in most cases that would be a 6 month term.

Besides like the other poster said you will pay more for being 24 and paying monthly! Good Luck... I remember those days.
