Your best bet may be term life insurance. Term insurance is taken for a pre set # of years (you choose how long). Premiums can be paid in one lump sum up front or in intervals. Once the term is up, if you have outlived the term, there is no return on your premium investment. I would call a reputable insurance agent for clarification and the most accurate info available. Some companies selling term life may give it to you without a medical exam but that would depend also on your age, the answers on your application (be sure you are as truthful as possible- misstating on an insurance application could result in the entire policy being voided). Term life insurance is also typically much less expensive than Whole Life Insurance. Good luck with your search. |

NONE of them are effective immediately. They will all take a week or two to process, including time to clear your first payment.
But, you can buy a small, guaranteed issue policy through either Mutual of Omaha, or Globe Life.
The CATCH is, you have to live at least two years, and pay into it at least two years, before you die, or else it doesn't pay out. That's how it works. |
