If I get pulled over by a police officer and asked to see insurance, who's insurance do I show?
Insurance coverage follows the vehicle, not the driver. However, if the owner of the vehicle has no insurance, you must be able to prove that you, as the driver, have an insurance policy that covers you....because it would extend coverage to the vehicle you're driving, even if you don't own it. So, it's always a good idea to put a copy of your insurance in your glovebox of your car and one in your wallet for cases like these.

The insurance of the registered owner.

Unbelieveable that a question such as this passes muster. One shows the insurance card that goes along with policy covering the car. If you are pulled over, the officer will identify you through your license. If the car isn't yours there will be further questioning for sure.

you show the card for the vehicle you are driving.

I assume you are driving someone else's car. You always show your insurance information.
