life insurance is and always be the most unselfish thing you could buy. You will get very little benefit when you buy life insurance, it is designed to take care of the what ifs ?? Like many have already said "you might not always be by yourself" and even if you are, there will always be a cost to someone to take care of your affairs after you have died. My advise (on what little i know about your or your situation) would be to purchase a small policy maybe around 20,000 to take care of those what ifs down the road. i am a financial planner who sells insurance. Buying a policy is always cheaper then paying for those what if's yourself out of your estate.

Hey, we've all been lonely sometime. I hope you cheer up soon.

There are reasons for buying life insurance, even if you don;'t have a family. If someone relies on you for financial support, in some way, you may want to purchase life insurance.

By purchasing life insurance now you lock in a lower rate and guarantee you have life insurance protection in the future if your circumstances change - For instant, if your health is bad, you are uninsurable, you get married and have more financial responsibilities.

There is one certainty in life - things change. So, your situation may change today, tomorrow, or next year, It helps to plan for the future. Also, you want to have protection to pay for your own final expenses if you don't currently have the money to do so.

Life insurance is a personal decision, it's up to you to decide if you have a need and want to provide financial security for someone.

Here are some more reasons to buy life isnruance:

Life insurance can provide a secure foundation for your financial planning program. Life insurance provides much needed financial security in several situations, including:

Providing replacement income for your dependents
If people (family members, friends, etc.) depend on your income, life insurance can replace your income for them if you die prematurely. A common example of this scenario is parents with young children. This also applies to couples for which the survivor would have financial difficulties if they no longer had the income of their partner. Also, dependent adults, such as your parents, siblings or adult children who rely on you financially for support.

To pay your final expenses
Life insurance can pay your funeral and burial costs, probate and other estate administration costs, debts and medical expenses not covered by health insurance.

Create an inheritance for your heirs
Even if you have no other assets to pass to your heirs, you can create an inheritance by buying a life insurance policy and naming them as beneficiaries.

Pay federal and state Death Taxes
Life insurance benefits can pay estate taxes so that your heirs will not have to liquidate other assets or take a smaller inheritance. Changes in the federal “death” tax rules between now and January 1, 2011 will likely lessen the impact of this tax on some people, but some states are offsetting those federal decreases with increases in their state-level “death” taxes.

Charitable Contributions
By making a charity the beneficiary of your life insurance, you can make a much larger contribution than if you donated the cash equivalent of the policy’s premiums.

Create Savings for your Spouse or Family Members
Some types of life insurance create a cash value that, if not paid out as a death benefit, can be borrowed or withdrawn on the owner’s request. Since most people make paying their life insurance policy premiums a high priority, buying a cash-value type policy can create a kind of “forced” savings plan.

Furthermore, the interest credited is tax deferred (and tax exempt if the money is paid as a death claim).
There are many reasons why we need life insurance. It’s important to consider your own personal situation. Decide why you need life insurance and who you want to provide for with your policy.

Also, consider the right amount of coverage to provide the financial security your family deserves. Remember, buy the amount of life insurance you can afford, that fits in your budget – so you can continue to pay the policy.

And, get a life insurance policy from a highly rated company. Usually, a life insurance company with a financial rating of “A” or better is considered to be a financially sound company.

Term life insurance offers you the maximum amount of life insurance protection at the lowest rates available.

I hope that helps! Best of luck to you and look - today is a new day! Go have some fun.

you may not be lonely forever and find somebody to love and care for you as a friend or a lover and they would have funeral expenses one day also cleaning out you place etc,

Yes there is a very good point in having life insurance. Look at the following example:

You are in a very bad automobile crash and are taken to the hospital, where you succumb to your injuries. Before passing away, the hospital has tried several costly "life saving" measures. The total bill, including the air ambulance ride, comes to $10,000.00 US.
Now lets look at the cost of disposal of your body. Whether you are cremated or buried, there will substantial cost involved with this.
Without insurance to cover these costs, the burden will fall on the public at large to cover these expenses.
The moral question is: Would it not be better to "go out" not owing anyone?

The insurance could always be used to make a charitable bequest ... or purchased in hopes of finding someone in the future.

Since the cost is lower the younger one buys, it's a sensible idea.

family or not - someone has to pay for your funeral and burial. Do you have money set aside for this purpose - is so, you don't need life insurance.

Life insurance is a kind of "protection" for those who survive your death

You need enough to pay for your 'final expenses.'
